George CressmanGeorge Cressman
Senior Pricing Strategist

George provides senior pricing leadership on consulting engagements and is a faculty member of SPG's education services. With over 28 years of industry experience, he has held senior business, sales, and marketing positions at DuPont, Monsanto, and Union Carbide. A frequent speaker and writer on pricing strategy, George is also a regular lecturer at executive education programs at University of Minnesota, University of Chicago, and Columbia University. His insights and articles have appeared in leading publications such as The Economist, Marketing Management Magazine, Journal of Pricing Management, and the Chemical Marketing Review. George is a Trustee of the Marketing Sciences Institute, a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute for the Study of Business Markets, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Virginia. He holds an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, an M.B.A., and has done doctoral work in marketing.
